Tuition Rates and Fees
REGISTRATION FEE
There is a non-refundable registration fee due at the time of registration for all regular session dance classes. This is the only way to secure your spot in the class.
2026-2027 Registration Fees:
$20.00 for a single dancer
$28.00 for families with 2+ dancers
CLASS MONTHLY TUITION
Tuition is due on the FIRST class of every month. You can pay with cash, check, credit card, or Venmo. Please be prompt with your payment. A $10.00 late fee is applied to each student's unpaid tuition amount on the 15th of every month.
Tuition is based on the total amount of instructional time the dancer takes every week.
30 minutes $40.00/month
45 minutes: $47.00/month
1 hour: $55.00/month
1.25 hour: $63.00/month
1.5 hour: $70.00/month
1.75 hour: $83.00/month
2 hours: $91.00/month
2.25 hours: $105.00/month

Our Performance Troupe classes are not included in the hourly tuition rate.
Performance Troupe classes are an additional $25.00-$32.00 per month/per student. You will receive your class assignment after our demo day.
Our competitive dance team tech classes are not included in the hourly tuition rate. Our dance team tech class is $45.00 per month/per student.
Additional fees will apply depending on the number of competition dances you participate in. Each dancer will receive their tuition total prior to the season start date.

RECITAL FEES
Recital is optional but recommended!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Our Spring 2027 Recitals will be held in May of 2027- more details to come.
If you choose to participate in the recital, you are responsible for the costume fee which is estimated at $85.00-$100.00 per dancer, for each class they attend. We try to keep our costs down as much as possible, but as with everything, the costs from costume companies are rising. You will also be responsible for the family production fee. The production fee will help cover the cost of the recital venue, props, and stage help.
There isn't a penalty for not participating in the recital. All dancers will learn the choreography and participate in all dance classes leading up to the end of our dance season.
Costume fee is due in October 2026 and production fee will be due by April 22, 2027.
You will receive an invoice before both payments are due. A $10.00 late fee will be applied after the due date.

DRUM/GUITAR LESSONS
New this season! (No registration fee required)
Private lessons are $25.00 for each 30 minute session.
You can choose between weekly or bi-weekly lessons.
A $25.00 materials fee will be due at the time of registration.

HOW TO PAY
Tuition is due on the first class of every month.
Accepted forms of payment: Cash, check, Venmo and Credit/Debit cards.
Checks should be made payable to Kernersville Dance Company.
-A $10.00 late fee will be applied after the 15th of every month.
-There is a $37.00 returned check fee.
-When paying with a credit or debit card, there is a 3% convivence fee added. There is no charge for cash and check payments.

DROP POLICY
Our season runs from September 2026-May 2027. By registering for a class, you are committing to attend that class for the duration of the season. If you decide you no longer wish to take the class before the season is over, we require a 30-day notice. You will still be responsible for the tuition for that 30-days.
Registration fees, costume fees, production fees, and tuition are non-refundable.
